Job enrichment, team activationAbstract
The study aimed to explore the relationship between job enrichment and activating work teams in the Ministry of National Economy in the northern Palestinian governorates. It followed the descriptive analytical approach and adopted the questionnaire as the main tool for collecting data. Its components were applied to a simple random sample of (300) employees in the ministry. The most important results of the study are that it proved the existence of a direct relationship between job enrichment and activating work teams in the ministry. It also proved the existence of an effect of job enrichment at a rate of (13,70 %) in activating work teams only for the variables (skills identification and feedback), while the variables (multiplicity of skills, importance of skills, independence of skills) did not prove to have an effect on the degree of activating work teams. Job enrichment also had a large relative weight of (70.434). The degree of activating work teams in the ministry came with a large relative weight of (71.507). Among the most important recommendations of the study is to enhance the reward of workers with multiple skills by adopting a unified reward system by the ministry, and the necessity of enhancing feedback processes so that workers can identify the strengths and weaknesses in their work, through determinants and standards known to workers.
