FEASIBILITY STUDY FOR THE MOBILE CLINICS PROJECT IN THE EASTERNREGION OF LIBYA

The mobile medical clinic project is one of the pioneering and civilized projects because of its
effective role in delivering modern medical services to remote areas, in addition to its role in reducing
the costs of transportation, accommodation, treatment, effort and time for patients and their families. The
study was conducted between 2019-2020 in the eastern region of Libya, which represents a model for
vast regions with remote cities, where transportation is limited to cars only. The study showed that the
mobile clinics project is economically feasible in all its aspects and in various sensitivity analysis tests.
The capital recovery period was about two years, the rate of return on investment was 61%, and the
internal rate of return (IRR) was 20%. The study reached a number of results and made a number of
recommendations.
