دراسة اقتصادية تحليلية لمحددات الاستثمار الأجنبي المباشر في الاقتصاد الليبي خلال الفترة (1990 – 2020)

Abstract

This  study  examines  the  determinants  of  foreign  direct  investment  in the  Libymyan  economy during   the perio(1990 – 2020) usikg  a standard  model  based  on  the  bounds  test  for  joint  integration(  bounds  test)  and  the  (ARDL ) model to  estimthe  the relationsh  betweenthe zise  of  foreign  direct  investment  and  its  basic  determinants  . the  measurement . results  showed  that  they  were  consistent  were  consistent with the economic  theory  as  they  showed  the  existence  of  a  goint  integration  relationship  between  the  study  variables  in  the  long  run  . the  results  of the  stationarity  tests  for  the  variables  (Augmented  dikey fuller  test  -phillips-perron)  for  the  stability  of  time  series  indicated  that  all  study  variables  are  stable  after  taking  their  first  differences .  It  also  became  clear  from  the  bounds  test  that  there  is  a long  - term  relationship  between  foreign  direct  investment  as  a dependent  variable  and  (exchange  rate  , economic  growth  ,  inflation  rate  ,  economic  openness )  as  independent  variables  in  the  libyan  economy . the  estimation  of  the  error  correction  model  (ECM)  showed  that  these  independent  variables  contribute  to the  size  of  foreign  direct  investment  in  the  long  run  and  in the short .
