Abstract

This study aims to examine the factor structure of the Beck Depression Inventory (BDI-II). The scale was administered to a sample of 381 adults affected by the Daniel disaster in the city of Derna. The researchers used confirmatory factor analysis through AMOS v.23 and SPSS v.22 programs. The results indicated that the unidimensional model has better fit indices compared to the two-factor model, and both models demonstrated high reliability and validity.
