هدف هذا البحث لقياس العلاقة بين التنمية المالية والنمو الاقتصادي في الدول المغاربية، وقد استخدم بيانات سنوية امتدت عبر الفترة 1990-2020 لأربع دول مغاربية هي ليبيا، والجزائر، وتونس، والمغرب، ووظف طريقة المربعات الصغرى المعممة panel FGLS لتقدير العلاقة بين متغيراته.
بينت نتائج البحث وجود علاقة موجبة بين متغير التنمية المالية ومتغير النمو الاقتصادي، الأمر الذي يعني أن التنمية المالية تحسن من معدلات النمو الاقتصادي فيها.
